Lana,' the deluxe edition of SZA's blockbuster 2022 album 'SOS' finally released on Friday, has had a long and convoluted history. Here's a timeline.

SZA’s SOS album has reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart following the release of its LANA Deluxe version. According to Luminate, the singer’s SOS Deluxe: LANA moved 178,000 album-equivalent units in its first week on the chart, with 105,000 of those sales attributed to songs included on the album.

SZA 's sophomore album SOS has landed back on top of the Billboard 200 thanks to the release of the Lana deluxe edition, Billboard reports . According to Billboard, "all versions of the album, old and new, are combined for tracking and charting purposes" and listed under the SOS title.

The original iteration of the expanded edition of the album saw 15 new tracks added to the front end of SOS, making for a total of 38 songs already. Billy Corgan will definitely be keeping an ear out on January 6.

SZA released an Instagram snippet starring Ben Stiller and playing a song on the deluxe version of the album titled “ Drive.” SZA first shared the title “Lana” back in 2023 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
