Last night on "WWE NXT," CM Punk made a surprise appearance during the contract signing between Ethan Page and Trick Williams for the NXT Championship, and announced that he will be the special guest referee for their match October 1 on The CW.

The ongoing feud between NXT champion Ethan Page and Trick Williams added a new twist. Roxanna Perez and Giulia also continue to add momentum towards their championship match. Both feuds will get a chance to settle the score in the ring with title matches in the first CW episode.
