The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed defenseman Jake Christiansen to a two-year, $1.95 million contract extension ($975,000 AAV) through the 2026-27 National Hockey League season, club President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Don Waddell announced today.

Waddell continues to work on the Blue Jackets' mountain of pending free agents, re-signing Jake Christiansen with two-year extension.

The NHL and sports apparel company Fanatics, who worked closely with the Blue Jackets and Red Wings in designing the jerseys, released both looks on Thursday. This outdoor game, the 43rd staged by the NHL, will be the first for Columbus and the fifth for Detroit.
