Parts of the Florida Panhandle were coated in a blanket of snow with temperatures at 25 degrees on Tuesday while Miami had temperatures in the 80s, seemingly two different worlds. From Pensacola down to Miami, there was a difference of 55 degrees, according to the National Weather Service Miami .
A dense fog advisory went into effect late Tuesday and will be in place until 8 a.m. for inland Broward and Miami-Dade counties, the National Weather Service said. In Miami, visibility was down to 1.7 miles and 2 miles in Key West at 6 a.m. Normal visibility is 10 miles.
“It’s going to be a weather roller coaster,” said Sammy Hadi, meteorologist at the National Weather Service’s Miami office. “We won’t deal with snow or anything historic, but it is going to be a week that starts off wet with showers at times, then with two cold fronts Wednesday and Friday night.”

According to her Facebook, she lives in Englewood on Florida’s west coast about 88 miles south of Tampa. But just wait: Weather Underground forecasts a low of 38 there next Saturday morning.
Miami's forecast for the next three days predicts continued sunny weather with highs in the mid-70s and lows in the mid-60s.
A Cold Weather Advisory is issued when air temperatures or wind chills of at least -10 degrees are expected, Dunn said. In contrast, an Extreme Cold Warning would be issued when air temperatures or wind chills below -25 degrees are expected.
