South Carolina officials recovered a kidnapped 9-year-old girl safely, and the suspect is in custody after an Amber Alert was issued Sunday morning.
Cellphones made an alarming noise at about 5:30 a.m., according to SLED.
An AMBER Alert has been issued on behalf of the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office after a 9-year-old girl was abducted overnight on Sunday.
The investigation is in its early stages, deputies said.
