Emile Cairess leads the British charge at this year's London Marathon, where Eilish McColgan will make her debut over the distance on 27 April.

TCS London Marathon organizers have announced that Emile Cairess, who finished third at the 2024 event, will headline a talented field of British athletes set to compete at the 2025 TCS London Marathon.

Ethiopia’s 2023 Osaka Marathon champion Haven Hailu, Ugandan record-holder Stella Chesang and world bronze medallist Fatima Ezzahra Gardadi are also in the line-up, while Commonwealth 10,000m champion Eilish McColgan is set to make her marathon debut.

Emile Cairess will go head-to-head with Alex Yee in the men’s race, while Eilish McColgan and Charlotte Purdue will compete in the women’s race
